Skin News | June 2011

Welcome to the June 2011 Skin Newsletter! Lot’s of stuff to talk about
this month what with the Download and High Voltage appearances, and the new DVD!

SKIN: Alive & Kicking (DVD Cover)

Fans on Facebook will be fully aware that there has been a lot of  anticipation around  the new Skin DVD. Recorded at the hallowed hall of Nottingham Rock City, the video is 100% pure, uncut, unaltered Skin. No overdubs. No filling. If you haven’t seen the boys since the reformation, this disc is the closest you will get to the real thing. The DVD will be in stock on June 13th, 2011 and only available through the Official Web Shop and the Skin gigs this summer. Once again, it will be limited to only 1,000 copies so get yours quickly.

With copies of the 2009 acoustic album “Up Close and Personal” running low in CD format, we have now released it as a digital download via iTunes (link here: http://goo.gl/A5y8b).  Hopefully we will get this on through other retail outlets shortly. And don’t forget we are down to the last few dozen copies of the “Reunited” DVD left.

In preparation for the gigs in July in Nottingham, Pontypridd and at High
Voltage, Myke and Nev are making an appearance at the Download Festival on the acoustic stage on Saturday 11th June. In the run up to this gig, they set up shop in Camden and played some tunes alongside Puddle of Mudd. Check out the fan videos here to see what you missed! and speaking of High Voltage…

It’s not too late to get tickets for High Voltage, (click here). Day tickets for 23rd are £56.50 plus booking fees, and the day is head lined by metal messiahs Judas Priest and Queensryche.
