Skin, the UK based rock group are back, and back with a bang. The British rock music scene has been through some changes in the past eleven years, but the future looks bright. The boys have released two new albums in the past year and a half, and they are available exclusively through the Skin Web Shop. Look out for more tour dates throughout 2010!

Myke and Nev will be opening for maestro Michael Schenker at the Pontypridd Muni on 17th September (7:30pm start). In what seems to be an unofficial second home for the boys since Skin reformation, it should be another barnstorming acoustic performance. More detials from the Muni website...
Thank you for the amazing support you have given us, not only in the last 5 months but the for last 11 years.
I don’t think a single member of the band ever thought that a reunion would happen, but we are all extremely happy that it did.
We had the extra bonus of getting the opportunity of supporting Chickenfoot, an honour of the highest order. The whole band have been fans of Van Halen and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, it seems like forever, so to be part of such an amazing night felt like a dream.
It was only after that concert that we sat down and discussed how we felt about the past, present but most importantly the future.
We all enjoyed the reunion and have decided that we would like to carry on playing together as Skin.
Probably the biggest factor was the response from you, without you we are nothing. We have been completely overwhelmed by the support you have given us, and all we can say is thank you.
We are going to do a small tour in December and if the support and passion is still there for Skin we will record a new album in the New Year.
The question as to whether there's life after Download for Skin has well and truly been answered. On top of the news that a new album is in the works, Skin have announced a string of December tour dates!

An understandably annoyed visitor by the name of Frontman sent us the heads up that the version of "Revolution" availble from iTunes, HMV and Amazon MP3 cuts off at 4:41, and doesn't run for the full full 5:29 of the original song.
If anyone is getting this problem, notify the store which you bought it from - unfortunately there is very little we can do other than send you this warning. Maybe have the site's customer services check on this prior to ordering if need be. And please post your experiences in the forum - if there are sites to avoid, we'd like to know!

Myke has mentioned that there will be a new Skin album! There are 11 tracks being worked on now, and with a bit of luck we'll have a new Skin record before the year is out. We have no other news other than this tantalising tidbit, but stay tuned and we'll publish more information as an when we get it!
For all those of you who have pre-ordered the new Skin album 'Breaking The Silence' expect it to hit your door mat any day now. The first 500 pre-orders are in the post!
